Bjornson Vineyard is a family-owned winery in the Eola-Amity Hills, committed to growing and crafting wines with integrity, sustainability, and a strong sense of place. Known for our award-winning Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, we also love introducing guests to lesser-known varieties like Aligoté, Chenin Blanc, and Mondeuse Noire—wines that reflect our curiosity and willingness to explore beyond the expected.

We’re looking for a Hospitality Supervisor to lead our tasting room with warmth, professionalism, and a genuine enthusiasm for connecting people to the land, the wines, and the stories behind every bottle. If you love creating memorable guest experiences, mentoring a team, and working with wines that go beyond the usual, we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

This role is about leading by example, connecting with people, and helping our team and tasting room thrive. Here's what that looks like:

• Greet every guest with genuine warmth and help them feel at home

• Lead by example—show what great hospitality and guest-focused sales really look like

• Help guests explore familiar wines and discover new favorites from our diverse lineup

• Handle questions and occasional hiccups with professionalism and calm

• Take the lead as Manager of the Day (MOD), keeping the daily flow smooth and guest-centered

• Keep the tasting room clean, organized, and always ready to welcome guests

• Share the stories behind our vineyard, wines, and winemaking approach—including food pairings when it fits

• Coach your team on service and upselling in a way that feels authentic, not scripted

• Promote our wine club and events with heart, not pressure

• Collaborate with the Wine Club Manager to create meaningful guest experiences and support club growth

• Collaborate with leadership to fine-tune the guest experience and grow direct sales thoughtfully

• Assist with social media posts, emails, and texts to stay connected with guests and club members

• Help manage and optimize tasting room costs, inventory processes, and DTC systems

• Work toward tasting room goals with intention—growing revenue and delivering great guest experiences every step of the way

• Deep understanding of wine, hospitality, and guest experience

• Ability to see how the tasting room fits into broader DTC and enterprise goals—and help evolve offerings as the wine industry (and our independent business) continues to grow

• Strong communication skills, and a knack for putting people at ease

• Tech-comfortable (Microsoft Office, POS and inventory systems, scheduling tools)

• Professional, approachable, and great at reading the room

• Available on weekends, holidays, and flexible hours

• Social media experience in a business setting preferred
