Qualifications

• Hospitality/Tourism Management student or recent graduate starting within 12 months
• Foreign post-secondary degree/certificate for Trainee program with at least 1 year related hospitality experience acquired outside the U.S. OR 5+ years in the field
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Friendly, outgoing, organized, self-reliant, efficient and computer literate

Responsibilities

• Learn all aspects of food service in an upscale hotel, and be familiar with menu offerings and preparation methods
• Assist in scheduling and coordinating staff shifts, manage inventory, and assure that health and safety regulations are met
• Develop effective guest relations skills and practice conflict resolution
• Advanced supervisory duties
