Arbor Lodging Management is seeking a Laundry Attendant to maintain a steady supply of clean linens for hotel operations. The role supports guest service and profitability by ensuring timely processing of towels, linens, and bedding.

Responsibilities include operating laundry machines, sorting and stain treatment, lifting linen, and maintaining inventory and equipment. The position requires physical stamina and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Ability to walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl as part of duties.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Tend to laundry machines to clean articles such as rags, towels, banquet linens, and bedding.
• Sort and separate linen and treat stains.
• Load articles into washer and add detergent; operate washers and dryers.
• Move clean, wet articles to dryers and operate to required time cycles.
• Sort dried articles by type and fold for placement.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and linens; keep area clean and organized.

Summary:

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for maintaining a constant supply of clean linens for the hotel in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Tend to laundry machines to clean articles such as rags, towels, banquet linens, and bedding
• Sort and separate all linen and treat all stains.
• Load articles into washer and adds specified amount of detergent, soap, or another cleaning agent
• Lift clean, wet articles from washer and place them successively into dryers for measured time cycles
• Sort dried articles according to type
• Fold and place items in appropriate locations
• Handle contaminated articles per company, franchise, and OSHA standards
• Maintain the inventory of cleaning supplies and linens
• Maintain all laundry equipment and inform the appropriate personnel of any maintenance needs
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area and ensure all floors are stocked
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence/memos; ability to write.
• Additional tasks may be assigned at any given time

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school education; or up to one month’s related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Frequently required to walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
