Job summary

Double Tree Bloomington Minneapolis South is seeking a Laundry Attendant to support daily laundry and housekeeping operations, ensuring linen cleanliness and presentation for guests. You will handle linen processing, maintain a tidy work area, and assist with inventory and guest requests.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must report to work on time.
• Must be present and able to work all shifts on-site.
• Must have open availability Monday-Sunday, including weekends.
• Must work rotating schedule to meet hotel needs.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and complete Form I-9 on day one.

Responsibilities

• Keep linens clean and ready: Handle all stages of linen processing, including collecting, sorting, washing, drying, ironing, folding, and delivering clean linens
• Maintain laundry area: Keep laundry machines and work areas clean and in good working order
• Manage inventory: Monitor and maintain stock levels of linens and laundry supplies
• Support equipment and property maintenance: Identify and report any repair needs or maintenance deficiencies
• Ensure an orderly workspace: Keep designated areas clean, neat, and organized for efficient hotel operations
• Delight our guests: Respond courteously to guest requests, prepare requested items, and resolve laundry and housekeeping service requests promptly
• Handle special projects: Perform periodic deep cleaning tasks as needed or required by brand standards
