NMS seeks a Chef Manager to lead the food service operation for Land’s End Resort in Homer, AK. You will drive menu planning, food safety, cost control, and inventory management while mentoring a team focused on exceptional service and quality.

The role requires a minimum of five years in a Chef Manager position within hospitality, strong supervisory skills, and knowledge of HACCP. You will ensure standards are met and collaborate on special events and operational improvements.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required; supervisory experience preferred.
• At least 5 years as a Chef Manager in restaurant/hospitality with emphasis on menu development and cost control.
• HACCP knowledge and food safety practices required; ServSafe certification preferred or contingent upon hire.

Responsabilidades

• Directs a high quality, cost effective kitchen and food preparation operation.
• Ensure HACCP and safety standards are understood and followed by all staff.
• Teach standard portion sizes, cooking methods, and quality standards to staff.
• Plan menus, manage ordering and inventory across locations.
• Complete production records accurately and timely.
• Develop varied, balanced menus and food service options.
• Maintain strong employee and client relations; improve service quality.
• Lead daily menu discussions with supervisors and address issues.
• Define roles, responsibilities, and accountability for all staff.
• Implement an effective staff training program.
• Foster sanitation and food safety across all kitchen locations.
• Collaborate with marketing on events or theme activities.
