Job summary

Bargreen Ellingson in Hawaii is seeking a full-time Food Service Designer to work on kitchen, seating, and restroom layouts ensuring ADA and health code compliance. The ideal candidate will be personable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently, with a strong background in Revit, BIM, and Bluebeam.

This role involves collaborating with architects, engineers, vendors, and customers, tracking hours, and contributing to design development in the hospitality and food service sector.

Qualifications

• Trained and experienced with Revit, BIM, and Bluebeam programs.
• Degree/Certification in Design and or CAD Drafter or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with G-Suite applications and MS Office, especially PowerPoint design.
• Preferred experience with VR or rendering programs such as Twin Motion.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage several projects and prioritize workload with strong organizational skills.
• Must have reliable transportation to work.
• Reliability and dependability are key components for this role.
• Must clear pre-employment screening upon a contingent offer.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the development, implementation, and creation of designs for our customers.
• Space Programming and Planning – develop kitchen, seating, and restroom layouts following building, ADA, and health codes.
• Review details of spec sheets & shop drawings for utility information.
• Assist with reviewing shop drawings.
• Communicate with architects, engineers, vendors, and customers to review plans and discuss changes.
• Track billable and non-billable hours.
• Other duties as assigned.
