Job summary

Troon is seeking an Interior Design Specialist for a seasonal role in Scottsdale, AZ. The position supports the design team to translate hospitality concepts into detailed kitchen, bar and foodservice designs, ensuring client satisfaction and project quality.

Candidates should have 1–5 years in design, preferably with a FIDER-accredited program. The role involves AutoCAD drafting, FF&E coordination, and client presentations, with potential to move to full-time.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years in a senior or mid-level design role
• Graduate from a FIDER-accredited interior design program preferred
• Strong written, presentation and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Support development of concept design to meet owner's requirements
• Prepare floor plans and furniture layouts using AutoCAD or similar drafting software
• Assist with FF&E sourcing, specification, procurement, and vendor coordination
• Create and maintain client-facing design presentations using Canva or similar presentation software
• Production of design intent documents and design drawings through all phases
• Assist in developing and maintaining project budgets and procurement schedules
