Job summary

3877, a boutique design firm in Washington, DC, is immediately seeking an interior designer with 5–8 years of hospitality experience. You will lead design sessions, meet clients, produce documents from concept through construction, and coordinate with consultants.

We offer healthcare, 401k, beer on tap, and a dynamic, creative environment on the Georgetown Waterfront. Base salary range is $85,000–$102,000 annually, with bonuses depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma from a recognized college in Interior Design or similar.
• A minimum of 5 years full time experience within the last year in hospitality design.
• Deep, philosophical understanding of Revit and Adobe Suite.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel), email and internet.
• Organization/attention to detail; ability to be proactive and take initiative; ability to work independently without extensive oversight.
• Outstanding communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate and lead design sessions
• Participate in client meetings / presentations
• Aid in production of project documents from concept design through construction documents
• Complete construction administration (on site and within the office)
• Participate in marketing endeavors
• Give and receive technical direction
• Serve as Project Manager on multiple projects and collaborate with the team
• Coordinate with consultants
• Manage time (your own and your team's) effectively
• Manage project budgets effectively
• Work with Interior Design team
• Multi-task and set priorities in a fast-paced environment
