Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts seeks a seasoned Human Resources leader to direct HR functions for the hotel operations at Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort. You will drive recruiting, training, wage and benefit administration, and ensure legal compliance to support guest service goals.

Lead associate relations programs, manage performance appraisal processes, and oversee compensation and benefits while partnering with hotel leadership to foster a positive, high-performing culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Human Resources experience in a hotel environment.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or HR certification is helpful.
• Strong knowledge of Federal, State, and Local HR laws and practices.
• Proven leadership and staff development abilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to General Manager and staff to ensure professional hotel operations.
• Lead and monitor training programs to develop associates and improve performance.
• Recruit and interview for management positions and oversee pre-employment checks.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable labor laws.
• Coordinate associate recognition, events, and performance appraisal processes.
• Monitor wages and benefits administration and analyze related reports.
• Maintain attendance, and perform other duties as assigned.
