Job summary

Hotel Zero Degrees Danbury is seeking a Houseperson to support daily housekeeping and maintain public areas, lobby, and event spaces to hotel standards. The Houseperson will assist with laundry tasks and ensure guest and associate spaces meet cleanliness expectations.

We value courteous, positive service and expect flexibility to work evenings and weekends, with prior housekeeping experience preferred. Join our team to help deliver warm, professional hospitality across all hotel areas.

Qualifications

• Requires candidates to remain on their feet for extended periods.
• Previous experience working in Housekeeping and Hospitality is preferred.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays required.
• Be able to bend, squat, kneel, and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to work Evenings and Weekends required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure housekeeping closets are fully stocked on guest floors.
• Assist housekeeping in removing trash and recyclables from guest floors.
• Deliver supplies to Housekeeping as needed.
• Respond to requests from guests, supervisors, or management in a timely manner.
• Move hotel furniture as required by manager or supervisor.
• Maintain the cleanliness of all corridors, elevators, staircases and linen closets.
