Job summary

GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY is seeking a Hospitality Host (Cook & Housekeeper) for a boutique assisted living home in Fulton, MD. This hands-on role covers daily cooking, cleaning, and household operations to create a safe, home-like environment for 8 residents.

You'll work 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts. You'll plan three home-style meals daily, manage laundry for residents, deep clean all areas, restock groceries, and collaborate with CNAs to keep the home running smoothly.

Qualifications

Description

We are seeking a warm, detail-oriented Hospitality Host to manage the physical comfort and culinary heart of our boutique 8-client assisted living home. In this essential role, you will hold primary responsibility for the daily operations of the household, which includes planning and cooking three home-style meals daily (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), deep cleaning all areas of the home (including bedrooms, bathrooms, and common spaces), and managing all household and individual resident laundry. You will also keep our home running smoothly by monitoring and restocking all groceries and household supplies. Because we operate on an "all hands on deck" philosophy, you won't be working in a silo; you will collaborate closely with our care staff to ensure our home functions as a well‑oiled machine, creating a clean, safe, and loving environment where our residents truly feel like family.

Requirements

• Licensing & Screenings: Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check and provide valid, negative TB test results. Current CPR / First Aid certification is required.
• Culinary Skills: Proven experience planning, preparing, and cooking three nutritious, home-style meals daily (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) for up to 8 residents, including managing special dietary needs.
• Environmental Services: Dedicated to maintaining a spotless, sanitary environment by deep cleaning all areas of the home, including common areas, bathrooms, and resident bedrooms.
• Laundry Management: Responsible for managing all household linens as well as the personal laundry for each individual client with care and organization.
• Inventory Control: Attentive to detail with tracking and restocking all household items, cleaning products, kitchen staples, and groceries.
• Team Mindset: A true "all hands on deck" attitude—ready to collaborate closely with our care staff to ensure our small home runs like a well‑oiled machine.

We operate on a philosophy of "All Hands on Deck". While your primary responsibilities focus on cooking and cleaning, our entire staff functions as a unified team. Our CNAs work right alongside you and will jump in to help with meals, serving, and tidying to ensure the home runs like a well‑oiled machine.
