Job summary

Legacy Health is seeking a friendly Food Service Assistant to support cafeteria and catering operations in Oregon. You will handle food prep, restocking, and basic cash handling while delivering courteous service to patients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior food service experience.
• Current Food Handler’s Certificate/Card, valid in Oregon.

Responsibilities

• Replenishes food and beverages in cafeteria or catered events.
• Operates cash register and reconciles cash drawer.
• Records production and refrigerator/freezer temperatures.
• Sets up work stations and prepares items as needed.
• Assists visitors and staff in a courteous manner.
• Completes broken equipment work orders and participates in process improvements.
• Other duties as required.
