Job summary

Clarendale Clayton is seeking a hospitality-focused Maintenance Technician to perform housekeeping and laundry functions throughout the community and support the physical plant. The role starts at $25.00 per hour and offers a full-time schedule with Monday–Friday shifts and rotating weekends.

Responsibilities include general maintenance, light plumbing and electrical repairs, preventive maintenance, painting and refurbishing projects, and assisting in winter snow removal.

Qualifications

• Perform general maintenance duties including repairs to walls, floors, and fixtures.
• Assist with minor electrical and plumbing tasks as needed.
• Respond promptly to service requests and complete work in priority order.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance duties, such as fixing wall covers, floor covers and some furniture and fixtures; light plumbing work, minor electrical repair and appliance repairs.
• Receive service requests and respond in a timely manner.
• Perform painting and refurbishing projects, as directed by supervisor.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, as directed by supervisor.
• Perform minor building and equipment repairs.
• Complete all work in the order of priority set by supervisor.
• Assist during winter with snow removal efforts as necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness of fountains, pumping and filtration system, where appropriate.
• Perform maintenance on irrigation system (valves, timers and nozzles).
• Perform routine maintenance on all vehicles when assigned.
• Maintain all tools, equipment and supplies in proper condition.
• WHEN QUALIFIED, assist the Director of Plant Operations and/or perform work on the heating and air conditioning systems, domestic water systems, refrigeration systems, pumps, motors, fans, electrical systems and emergency generators.
• Maintain exterior and interior of all buildings.
• Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position drive top-line revenue and occupancy.
