Viceroy Hotels, developing Sun Valley, Idaho project, seeks a Staff Accountant to support the Director of Finance with payroll, accounts receivable, and related reporting. You will ensure internal controls, accuracy, and compliance with standards, while assisting with month-end close and financial reconciliations.

The role emphasizes payroll processing, revenue reporting, and collaboration with the Finance team to safeguard assets and improve efficiency in a high-end luxury environment.

Qualifications

• College courses in an associated or related field and/or related experience in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
• Accounts Receivable and Payroll experience is preferred.
• Hotel PMS Opera is preferred.
• Flexible and long hours are sometimes required, especially month-end.
• Sedentary work - ability to sit for long periods and handle repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, prepare, and communicate financial reports due dates.
• Process payroll and enter payroll data into the time/attendance system.
• Maintain daily Accounts Receivable credit, billing, and collection processes.
• Reconcile invoices and ledgers to ensure accurate invoicing.
• Assist in monthly close with journal entries related to daily tasks.
• Support internal controls and compliance with company policies.
