Job summary

Naples Hotel Group is seeking a Staff Accountant to provide day-to-day accounting support for our hotel, ensuring timely processing of financial data, reconciliations, and monthly reporting in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

You will work with the accounting team to maintain internal controls, assist with month-end close, and provide financial insights to operational leaders, while upholding our service standards and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality, or a related field, or equivalent prior accounting experience.
• 2-3 years of income audit or general accounting experience, preferably in a hospitality environment.
• Familiarity with hotel systems, including PMS and POS platforms.
• Experience with M3 Accounting software preferred, but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• High attention to detail and accuracy when working with financial data.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue daily reports and reconcile financial data.
• Process and manage purchases and enter payables in accounting system.
• Verify daily tips for service staff and ensure accurate postings.
• Maintain internal controls and assist with month-end close.
