The Quail in Carmel Valley seeks a Financial Controller to lead day-to-day accounting operations and provide expert guidance on all financial matters. You will oversee forecasting, budgeting, and reporting across hotel, golf, and events, while coaching the finance team to drive robust analytics and profitability.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years hospitality finance experience, including team leadership.
• Finance degree or accounting background; CPA preferred.
• Strong technical accounting, controls, and forecasting capability.
• Proven experience with multi-outlet operations and inventory-intensive environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in compliance with standards and audit protocols.
• Direct the forecasting and budgeting cycle, aligning with strategic and financial plans for hotel, golf, and events.
• Deliver actionable insights, dashboards, and KPIs to operational leaders for data-driven decisions.
• Support long-term financial planning, investments, and capital budgeting for growth and operational excellence.
• Direct, coach, and develop the Finance team to ensure high performance and accountability.
