Job summary

Hilton in California is seeking an Engineer to maintain hotel facilities, ensure safety and reliability of guest rooms, public spaces, and heart-of-house areas, and to respond quickly to service requests, delivering consistent hospitality.

You’ll perform a range of maintenance tasks across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and masonry, document activities, and contribute to an award-winning workplace culture with strong team collaboration and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities maintenance and safety compliance.
• Ability to diagnose and repair building systems and equipment.
• Strong reliability and teamwork in a hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hotel facilities: Ensure physical functionality and safety of the property, including guest rooms, public spaces, and heart-of-house areas
• Respond to service requests: Quickly handle guest calls and team member work orders
• Perform a variety of maintenance tasks: Conduct repairs and maintenance across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and masonry
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections: Regularly inspect facilities and equipment to identify and address preventive maintenance needs
• Document maintenance activities: Record completed inspections and repairs and flag any issues requiring further attention
