Job summary

Hilton in California is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to help maintain safety and functionality of the property, assist with guest room and public area upkeep, and support a range of maintenance tasks across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and masonry.

You will respond to service requests, document inspections and repairs, and contribute to delivering the warm, hospitable guest experience Hilton is known for.

Responsibilities

• Support hotel facility maintenance Assist in maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the property, including guest rooms, public spaces, and heart-of-house areas
• Respond to service requests: Quickly handle guest calls and team member work orders
• Support a variety of maintenance tasks: Conduct repairs and maintenance across various areas, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and masonry
• Assist with preventive maintenance inspections: Inspect facilities and equipment to identify and address preventive maintenance needs
• Document maintenance activities: Record completed inspections and repairs and flag any issues requiring further attention
