Job summary

Greenberg Traurig is seeking a Hospitality/Facilities Assistant for our Miami office. This in-office role requires flexibility for overtime, including evenings or early mornings, and reports to the Office Operations Manager.

The position focuses on hospitality services, conference support, and facilities tasks to ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities include managing meetings, maintaining supplies, setup/cleanup for events, and basic maintenance, with opportunities to demonstrate bartending

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
  • Experience in hospitality or facilities/maintenance is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hospitality services and conference room setup.
  • Maintain supplies, cleanliness, and readiness of food counters.
  • Assist with minor maintenance tasks and repairs as needed.
  • Support meetings and events, including setup, cleanup, and catering assistance.
  • Demonstrate bartending skills and maintain bar area during events.
  • Greet clients, respond to inquiries, and deliver excellent service.

Join our Administrative Services Department as a Facilities/Hospitality Assistant in our Miami office.

This role is in-office and requires flexibility to work overtime, including evenings or early mornings, as needed. This role reports to the Office Operations Manager.

Position Summary

The Hospitality/Facilities Assistant is responsible for providing hospitality services, including food and beverage service, conference room setup, and related support. This role also involves assisting with facilities and maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivers exceptional internal and external client service in a courteous and professional manner
  • Plans and executes scheduled service requests for meetings and office events using the Service Tracker System
  • Maintains hospitality supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and functionality
  • Keeps conference rooms, kitchen areas, and food counters clean, organized, and fully stocked
  • Sets up food counters promptly, ensuring readiness by scheduled times
  • Responds quickly and accurately to guest requests and inquiries
  • Performs minor patching and painting of interior walls, doors, and ceilings
  • Shampoo carpets after hours in offices as needed
  • Conducts routine maintenance tasks to maintain a safe and functional office environment using the Maintenance Work Order System
  • Assists with receiving and managing deliveries efficiently
  • Provides support for meetings and events, including setup, cleanup, and catering assistance
  • Assists with other department activities as needed and takes on additional responsibilities as assigned
  • Demonstrates bartending skills, including mixology, customer service, multitasking, and maintaining a clean bar environment in fast-paced settings

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance and up to 140 lbs with assistance
  • Comfortable retrieving and replacing items from shelving units ranging from floor level to 8 feet high
Education & Prior Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment (preferred)
  • At least 2 years of experience in a maintenance environment (preferred)
Technology
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook, with the ability to learn new software programs quickly
  • Demonstrates a basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI), including core capabilities, limitations, and importance of data privacy, accuracy, verification, and ethical considerations within a professional services environment
  • Familiarity with or willingness to learn AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar tools) and incorporate them responsibly into day‑to‑day workflows to enhance daily work tasks as appropriate and/or directed
  • Proactive approach to learning and adapting to emerging AI and related technologies and contributes to a culture of innovation
