Arc Broward in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Hospitality and Special Event Sales professional to lead planning, execution, and evaluation of high-energy events while delivering exceptional service.

This role requires 3+ years in Food Service/Events leadership, strong leadership and communication, and proficiency with catering software. Benefits include 26 days PTO, comprehensive health coverage, and ongoing training through Arc Educates.

Qualifications

• Mandatory service experience in hospitality.
• 3+ years in a similar Food Service/Events lead role.
• Experience using TripleSeat or other catering/event management software.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Must successfully complete Level II background check, physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of events, while maintaining exceptional service.
• Participate in weekly BEO meetings with catering team to review upcoming events.
• Maintain an adequate roster of servers, bartenders, etc., and schedule/supervise them for events.
• Ensure catering deliveries meet customer guidelines and event details.
• Demonstrate the ability to quickly evaluate alternatives and decide on a plan of action.
• Demonstrate exceptional leadership and communication while overseeing event setup, execution and breakdown.
