Highgate Hotels seeks an Engineering Supervisor to oversee daily hotel operations in the Denver property. You will manage engineering staff, ensure safe, compliant facilities, and lead energy-saving initiatives in line with brand standards.

The role requires a hands-on leader with strong communication, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to multitask across maintenance, safety, and project work.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum three years progressive experience in hotel or related field preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Must be able to work long hours and lift heavy objects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing plans to maintain property, equipment, and grounds.
• Ensure hotel compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
• Inspect and certify emergency and life safety equipment per standards.
• Supervise engineers and train in customer service and SOPs.
• Participate in energy conservation programs.
• Review guest and meeting planner feedback to resolve issues.
• Ensure ADA compliance.
• Assist with vendor contracts and budget control.
• Support financial forecasts and monthly P/L reviews.
• Assist with special projects and renovations.
• Repair and program hotel electronic lock systems.
• Schedule preventive maintenance tasks.
