Job summary

Gardner Builders in Wisconsin seeks a skilled journeyman carpenter for full-time, in-person work in the Fox Valley and surrounding areas. You will handle service requests, repairs, and warranty work, while upholding hospitality-driven client care and safety on every site.

You’ll review blueprints, perform millwork installation and fabrication, manage small projects, and coordinate with trade partners. A minimum of four years in commercial carpentry, OSHA 10, and Procore/Outbuild proficiency are

Qualifications

• Journeyman carpenter status and 4+ years in commercial carpentry.
• OSHA 10 certification and valid driver\'s license.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow PPE rules.
• Proficiency with Procore and Outbuild software.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests, repairs, and warranty work as directed by supervisors and project managers.
• Build relationships with facility teams and tenants through proactive communication.
• Perform millwork installation, repair, and fabrication, including doors, frames, cabinets, paneling, furniture, hardware, and related carpentry tasks.
• Review blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine layout, dimensions, and required materials.
• Strong knowledge of occupational hazards and the associated safety precautions, with the ability to identify hazards and enforce safe practices.
• Ability to represent the company with professionalism, emotional intelligence, and a service-oriented mindset in time-sensitive and client-facing situations
• Serve as a hospitable point of contact between internal teams and external partners.
• Lead small projects and coordinate work with trade partners when needed.
• Prepare estimates and, when required, gather bids from trade partners.
