Job summary

Blackhawk Country Club in Danville, CA, seeks a Fitness Operations Supervisor to manage front desk operations and deliver an exceptional member experience. You will serve as the primary liaison between members and staff, ensure smooth communication, and uphold five-star service standards.

You’ll lead daily tasks, assist with program promotion, and help maintain safety, cleanliness, and hospitality excellence across the Fitness and Wellness Center.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in hospitality, customer service, or retail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a warm, service-minded approach.
• Familiarity with fitness equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a welcoming and professional point of contact for all members, guests, and staff.
• Maintain front desk, coffee station, water station, retail shop, laundry and janitorial areas.
• Record and enter member activity into the Essentials system; manage sign-in process.
• Assist Retail Buyer with tagging, merchandising, and inventory as needed.
• Support fitness leadership with programs, promotions, and member feedback.
• Coordinate housekeeping and supplies; maintain inventory and cleanliness.
• Contribute to recruitment, onboarding, and scheduling of new team members.
• Uphold safety culture and partner with the Safety Champion on initiatives.
