Job summary

Porters Neck Village in Wilmington, NC, is seeking an EVS Director to lead housekeeping and laundry operations for a senior living community. The role drives service quality, infection prevention, safety and regulatory compliance while managing staffing and budgets.

The EVS Director will oversee daily operations, guide staff development and maintain high resident satisfaction through strong leadership and process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• National Executive Housekeeper's Association certificate or related technical degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping and laundry operations, infection control and safe chemical handling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping and laundry operations and ensure safety, cleanliness and resident satisfaction.
• Lead and support housekeeping and laundry staff through hiring, training, scheduling and coaching.
• Conduct inspections to ensure quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Manage staffing, payroll, supplies, budgets and interdepartmental collaboration.
