Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants in San Francisco seeks a motivated kitchen helper to ensure guests receive clean china, glassware, and silverware, and to support Cooks, Bussers, Bartenders, and Servers while keeping areas clean, dry, and safe.

Prior experience is preferred; a Food Handler Certification is a plus. You must be dedicated, able to follow verbal instructions with minimal supervision, and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Able to follow verbal instructions and work with minimal direction or supervision to complete assigned tasks.
• Flexible schedule and are able to work evenings, weekends and holidays when needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate all kitchen and dishwashing equipment safely.
• Wash dishes, glassware, equipment, and silverware by hand when necessary.
• Keep area in kitchen clean and free of debris and water.
• Restock all supplies and stock any deliveries received in a timely and safe manner.
• Remove all trash and debris from restaurant routinely.
• Assist other restaurant personnel with tasks.
• Be flexible and ready to take on duties outside of this job description as needed.
