Responsibilities

• Oversee the host stand and guest flow, greeting and seating with warmth.
• Coordinate seating with servers and management to balance dining room and manage wait times.
• Circulate the dining room to check on guests, build relationships with regulars, notice details.
• Identify and resolve guest concerns in the moment and turn issues into opportunities to improve experience.
• Serve as liaison between the front-of-house team and the General Manager, flagging feedback and staffing needs.
• Set the floor tone and model hospitality for FOH staff.
• Run food when servers are backed up.
