Job summary

Gracious Hospitality Management in New York seeks a Director of Construction and Facilities Management to oversee new restaurant openings from development through occupancy. You will coordinate vendors, architects, engineers and internal teams to ensure timely, compliant, and high‑quality openings that meet GHM standards.

You will also supervise facilities maintenance for existing locations, manage budgets with the CFO, and report to the COO.

Qualifications

• Experience leading construction and facilities teams in hospitality.
• Strong vendor and stakeholder management.
• Ability to manage multiple openings and ongoing maintenance.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Project management of new restaurant openings from conception to occupancy.
• Budgeting, scheduling, and quality control for construction projects.
• Liaise between company and vendors to ensure smooth openings.
• Collaborate with contractors, architects, engineers, and internal teams to meet standards.
• Monitor progress with regular site visits and issue resolution.
• Develop and maintain clear project communications and risk tracking.
