Job summary

beem® Virginia Beach is seeking a Hospitality Attendant to refresh private sauna suites between guests and support studio cleaning to optimize guest experience.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean facility, sanitizing areas, assisting with turnover of sauna rooms, folding towels, stocking supplies, and supporting the back room. Training is provided; reliability and a strong work ethic are valued in a collaborative team setting.

• Ensure reception area, sauna rooms, restroom, and laundry are cleaned and sanitized.
• Assist with turnover/cleaning of individual sauna rooms.
• Take soiled towels, sanitize and reset sauna suites for next guests.
• Clean bathrooms and showers.
• Fold/roll towels and manage towel supply area.
• Clean, maintain and stock back room and supply closet.
• Remove trash and recycling daily.
• Keep running tally of reject towels.
• Other projects as assigned by Studio Manager.

Job description

The Hospitality Attendant position is responsible for refreshing private sauna suites between guests, studio cleaning, folding towels for guests and helps ensure the effortless flow of the studio to maximize the guest experience.

We are looking for a candidate who is reliable, exhibits a strong moral fiber, possesses a positive attitude and solid work ethic.

Experience working in a spa or health/wellness environment is a plus, however, we are willing to train the right candidate.

Compensation: Competitive Hourly Rate + Studio Membership + Paid Training

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintain clean facility and studio appearance during operating hours
• Ensure the reception area, sauna rooms, restroom, and laundry room are cleaned/sanitized at all times and in full operating order
• Assist with turnover/cleaning of individual sauna rooms
• Taking soiled towels, sanitizing and resetting sauna suites with towels in preparation for the next guests' appointments
• Clean bathrooms and showers
• Fold/roll towels while maintaining and organizing the facility’s towel supply area
• Clean, maintain and stock the back room and supply closet
• Remove trash and recycling daily
• Keep a running tally of reject towels (towels not good enough for guest use)
• Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the Studio Manager's discretion
