Job summary

TPG Hotels and Resorts is hiring a Hospitality Attendant in the Warwick, Rhode Island area to support front-of-house dining operations. You will set up the hospitality area before service, greet guests, and assist with serving food and beverages in line with policies and brand standards.

The role includes side work and maintaining cleanliness throughout shifts. The ideal candidate has a High School diploma and is capable of working in a fast-paced environment, with strong communication skills

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in food service or hospitality is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer-service orientation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up hospitality area before service, arranging tables and chairs, and ensuring proper table settings.
• Greet guests, and may serve food and beverages following policies, procedures, brand standards, alcohol awareness and federal, state and local serving regulations.
• Complete assigned side work and related cleaning duties in the hospitality area.
• Maintain a clean and organized hospitality area by clearing tables and resetting them for new guests.
• Assist with all aspects of service as requested.

Working Conditions & Physical Effort

Physical work is a primary part of many of our hotel and resort jobs. Physical requirements include extended standing and walking, climbing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and lifting to 50 lbs. Some work is performed in an interior hotel environment with equipment and machines.
