Job summary

HBG Design in Memphis seeks a licensed Architect to contribute to hospitality and entertainment projects. You will help prepare architectural designs and construction documents, serving as a bridge between design and documentation.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of building materials, construction methods, and codes, with the ability to mentor junior staff and lead project documentation. Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, and MS Office is required.

Qualifications

• Current architectural license.
• 4–5 year architecture degree from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Translate design concepts into cost-effective building designs and documents.
• Utilize Revit to create 3D models and construction documents on deadlines and budgets.
• Research codes and building systems to inform design solutions, under project direction.
• Document and maintain project design files, including material decisions and methods.
• Collaborate to brainstorm and solve design challenges.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.
• Support in submittal reviews, RFIs, and ASIs as needed.
