Job summary

Westminster Retirement Community in Austin, TX is seeking a hospitality ambassador/server for the Laurel Restaurant and Bistro Cafe. This part-time role offers 20-25 hours per week with an hourly wage plus an incentive program that can add up to $100 per week.

Great benefits are available to full-time associates, including medical, dental, vision, and paid time off; daily pay option and double-time pay on holidays are also offered.

Qualifications

• Hospitality oriented and caring in service.
• Previous restaurant or hotel experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain TABC certification if not already.

Responsibilities

• Provide all aspects of table service in Laurel Restaurant or Bistro Cafe.
• Set tables and maintain wait stations in neat, sanitary order.
• Take orders and deliver quality customer service.
• Clear dishes during and after meals.
• Communicate menu selections, specials, and resident requests clearly.
• Must be able to obtain TABC certification if not already.

Who We Are

Westminster is a premier retirement community with dedicated and skilled staff, dynamic leadership, innovative services and first class facilities. We are hiring Hospitality Ambassadors/Servers for our Laurel Restaurant and Bistro Cafe. This position is Part-time, 20-25 hours per week.

This position includes an hourly wage, plus an incentive program, for additional compensation of up to $100 per week for Part-time.

Enjoy a steady schedule, steady hours, and a steady paycheck! And, no late nights - our latest shift ends at 8:30pm. Flexible schedule, 4:30pm-8:30pm.

Who You Are

We are seeking candidates who are hospitality oriented and take great pride in serving others in a caring and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of table service in our Laurel Restaurant or Bistro Cafe.


• Previous restaurant or Hotel experience is desired.


• Properly sets tables and maintains wait stations in a neat, and sanitary order.


• Takes orders and provides quality customer service both graciously and courteously.


• Clears dishes from tables during and after meal service.


• Communicates effectively any and all menu selections, specials, and resident requests.


• Must be able to become TABC Certified, if not already.
