Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) seeks a Hospitality Ambassador to be the welcoming face of our retail center in Washington, DC. You will deliver high-quality service, guide guests, and promote local amenities while collaborating with retail partners to meet center goals.

The role requires 2+ years in hospitality or retail, professional communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. On-site work with weekday and weekend shifts. Competitive benefits offered.

What this job involves:

A Hospitality Ambassador at JLL, you will be the welcoming face of our retail center, delivering exceptional experiences to every guest. In this role, you will provide proactive, high-quality service, helping visitors navigate the property and surrounding community. What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Deliver welcoming, professional customer service to all retail center guests and visitors.
  • Provide accurate directions and helpful recommendations regarding retailers, dining, and local attractions.
  • Proactively assist guests using an "above and beyond" approach to service.
  • Maintain and update guest service materials, maps, and local directories at the desk.
  • Collaborate with retail partners to build strong on-site relationships.
  • Promote and sell property gift cards to meet established center goals.
  • Stay informed about local trends, citywide events, and nearby hotspots.
  • Support your team's success, as we believe the most effective teams are built when everyone is empowered to thrive.
Expected Schedule:

40 hours per week across 5 days, Saturday and Sunday availability is required

Required qualifications:
  • Two or more years of experience in hospitality, customer service, or retail.
  • Excellent communication skills with a polished, professional demeanor.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and comfort in approaching guests.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative team-player mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with digital technology, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, unless a reasonable medical accommodation is needed.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a luxury retail, high-end hospitality, or class-A commercial setting.
  • Deep knowledge of local entertainment, dining, and transit options.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills.
  • An eagerness to embrace more innovative ways of working and prioritize opportunities to strengthen your career.

Expected compensation for this position:

45,000.00 – 47,844.00 USD per year
