Job summary

Park Place of Elmhurst, part of Providence Life Services, is seeking a Part Time Hospitality Aide to support on-campus resident services and dining operations.

You will help serve meals, prep Grab 'N Go items for the Bistro, and assist with cleaning and upkeep. The role requires weekend availability and a high school diploma, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Food service experience is a plus; on-the-job training is provided.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Available to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident services and assist in serving food and beverages.
• Prepare Grab 'N Go food items for the Bistro.
• Assist in serving food according to established portion control procedures.
• Clear and carry soiled dishware to wash areas.
• Return clean dishware to storage areas for next meal.
• Assist in cleaning work area/Bistro and equipment as needed.
• Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet.

Key Responsibilities:

The primary purpose of your job position is the provision of resident services, assist in the serving of food/beverages, prepare Grab 'N Go food items and other tasks as needed to facilitate the continued well-being of the resident.

• Adheres to and conveys a philosophy that supports the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and individuality of residents
• Assists in serving food/beverages that are attractive in appearance.
• Prep food items that can be packaged and sold as "Grab 'n Go items in our Bistro
• Assist in Serving food in accordance with established portion control procedures.
• Clear and carry soiled dishware to wash areas.
• Return clean dishware to proper storage areas for next meal.
• Assist in cleaning work area/Bistro as well as assisting to clean any equipment as needed.
• Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet.
