Job summary

Park Place of Elmhurst, a Providence Life Services community, is seeking hardworking Part-Time Bussers to join our dining services on campus in Elmhurst, IL.

You will assist in daily cleaning, clear and deliver food trays, help the cook when needed, and keep work areas safe and tidy. A physical, drug screen, background check, and food handler or Serve Safe certification (within 90 days) are required or obtained. On-the-job training is provided along with PTO, benefits and a 403(b) plan.

Qualifications

• Food service experience is a plus.
• Must pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprint for criminal background and reference check.
• Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet.
• Must possess Food Handler Certification or Serve Safe Certification or obtain same within 90 days of hire. Certification must remain current throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties; clean equipment, sweep floors, clear and carry soiled dishware to wash areas, return clean dishware to proper storage areas, wash and clean dishware or pots & pans as needed, assist cook in preparing meals when needed, and deliver food trays to designated areas.
• Attends and participates in department meetings and in-service training.
• Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the department.
