Job summary

Park Place of Elmhurst in Elmhurst, IL is seeking dedicated Part Time Hospitality Aides to provide resident services, assist in serving meals, and help prepare Grab 'N Go items on campus.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, weekend availability, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. On-the-job training is provided to support new hires and ensure high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident services and assist in serving food and beverages.
• Prepare Grab 'N Go food items for the Bistro.
• Adhere to a philosophy respecting residents' dignity, privacy, independence, choice and individuality.
• Assist in serving food with established portion control procedures.
• Clear and carry soiled dishware to wash areas and return clean items to storage.
• Assist in cleaning work area and Bistro and related equipment.
• Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a height of 3 feet.

Key Responsibilities:

The primary purpose of your job position is the provision of resident services, assist in the serving of food/beverages, prepare Grab 'N Go food items and other tasks as needed to facilitate the continued well-being of the resident.

• Adheres to and conveys a philosophy that supports the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and individuality of residents
• Assists in serving food/beverages that are attractive in appearance.
• Prep food items that can be packaged and sold as "Grab 'n Go items in our Bistro
• Assist in Serving food in accordance with established portion control procedures.
• Clear and carry soiled dishware to wash areas.
• Return clean dishware to proper storage areas for next meal.
• Assist in cleaning work area/Bistro as well as assisting to clean any equipment as needed.
• Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet.

Food service experience is a plus. On the job training is provided!
