Job summary

Centerville Health and Rehab in Centerville, OH is seeking a friendly Hospitality Aide/Caregiver to assist nurses and residents with non-resident care tasks as outlined by care plans and facility policies. You will help with meal service, delivering items, transporting residents to activities, light housekeeping, and reporting changes in a resident’s condition to nursing staff.

The role is full-time or part-time with competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to successfully pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive services to nurse(s) and nursing assistants as needed.
• Pass ice, water pitchers, linens, towels, and washcloths.
• Mark and pass supplies, make beds, and help serve plates and drinks to residents at mealtimes.
• Set/clean off tables in dining areas, clean dishes, put dishes away.
• Assist in passing snacks to residents.
• Transport residents to and from activities as well as conduct one-on-one activities with residents.
• Assist in various cleaning activities including but not limited to, emptying linen/trash bins, cleaning wheelchairs, or other housekeeping duties.
• Reports changes in a resident’s condition to the resident’s nurse and supervisor.
• All other non-resident care duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Hospitality Aide provides assistance to Nurse(s) and nursing assistants for all non-resident care duties as assigned and in accordance with care plans, facility policies and procedures and at the direction of supervisor(s).
