Job summary

Spring Valley Health & Rehab is seeking Hospitality Aides to support residents and the care team while you train to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). You will help with daily activities, provide companionship, and learn care routines from CNAs and nurses in a warm, respectful environment.

No CNA certification is required to start—training is provided with opportunities to advance into a CNA role upon certification. Flexible scheduling and benefits support your growth in senior care.

Qualifications

• Interest in helping others and growing in senior care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities like meals, hydration, mobility and companionship.
• Provide warm, friendly interactions to brighten residents' days.
• Collaborate with CNAs and nurses; observe and relay residents' well-being to the care team.
• Support training path toward CNA certification and transition to CNA role.

What You’ll Do (AKA: Your Everyday Superpowers)

Support Resident Well-Being:

• Assist residents with daily activities like meals, hydration, companionship, and mobility—no hands-on care required at this stage.
• Provide warm, friendly interactions that brighten our residents' days.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable environment for residents and staff.

Be a Key Part of the Team:

• Work closely with CNAs and nurses to learn care routines and protocols.
• Provide updates and observations about residents' well-being to the nursing team.
• Pitch in where needed to help our community run smoothly.

Train to Become a CNA (We’ll Help!):

• Enroll in a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program, fully supported by our team.
• Receive hands-on experience and mentorship as you prepare to take your certification exam.
• Transition to a CNA role with us upon successful completion!

What You Bring to the Table (Besides a Great Attitude)

No Experience? No Problem!

Physical & Schedule Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with resident movement under supervision.

Salary: $15.19 - $17.63*

$2.00/Hour PM Shift Differential

$4.00/Hour NOC Shift Differential
