Job summary

M3 is a leading provider of hospitality-specific software solutions. The Manager – Accounting supervises multiple accountants to ensure accurate and timely financial data for the client’s corporate staff.

The role requires onsite presence in Lawrenceville, GA two days per week on a hybrid schedule, with responsibility for team leadership, SOPs, RCA/AAR, and leveraging AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency while maintaining data security and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; equivalent education/experience may be considered.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience with accounting software: Dynamics GP, QuickBooks, Peachtree; knowledge of M3 software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Liaises with client’s corporate staff.
• Directly manages Staff and Senior Accountants including recruiting, onboarding, development, performance management, corrective action, and coaching.
• Monitor compliance with internal/external procedures for consistency and accuracy.
• Monitor workload, deadlines, and efficiency.
• Maintain professional communication with clients and internal team members.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and accuracy in reconciliations & reporting.
• Supervise tax returns (sales, use, occupancy).
• Review working papers and schedules for accuracy.
• Coordinate training for new employees and determine training needs.
• Handle special projects and new initiatives.
• Author/update SOPs/SWI; conduct Root Cause Analysis and After Action Reports.
