Job summary

Saint Luke's North Hospital is seeking a Hospitalist Registered Nurse for a full-time day shift at our Kansas City location. The role will primarily be at the North hospital but may float to Plaza for coverage as needed.

Hours are 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with no nights or weekends and potential for hybrid after 6 months. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of RN experience, MO and KS RN licenses, and an Associate Degree.

Qualifications

• 2 years Registered Nurse (MO) experience.
• MO and KS RN License required.
• Associate Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to hospitalist physicians and APRNs, including daily list assignments and pager coverage.
• Act as a liaison with hospital staff and coordinate with care coordinator and social work.
• Follow up on results and questions after discharge, including FMLA and disability forms.
• Assist with other duties as needed to facilitate patient care and cover at North location; float to Plaza as required.
