Sound Physicians in Clovis, CA is seeking a nocturnist hospitalist to join a dedicated team for overnight inpatient care. The role supports a 7 pm–7 am schedule with a 7-on/7-off full or part-time rotation.

Applicants must be Board Certified/Eligible in internal or family medicine, and ACLS is required. We offer visa sponsorship and robust credentialing support through Sound.

We are hiring for a nocturnist position. A nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Local Team Collaboration:

Flexible Scheduling:

• Nocturnist hours are 7 pm - 7 am. Full-time positions follow a 7‑days-on, 7‑days-off rotation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient care in a closed ICU environment. Focus on cross-covering and admissions, alongside several other nocturnists and a night Advanced Practice Provider.
• Procedures are not required.
• Be part of the Rapid Response team for your patients.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
• Focus on delivering high-quality care while benefiting from a flexible schedule, allowing for time with family, friends, and personal interests.
• Work closely with hospital colleagues across departments, serving on committees and contributing to hospital-wide initiatives like reducing hospital‑acquired infections (HAIs).
• Utilize Epic EMR system.
