Position Overview: Be part of a world-class health system while providing patient-centered care in an award-winning, rural community hospital. Team and Service Details: The team consists of 2 full-time physicians and 4 APPs (CRNPs/PAs) providing inpatient care and collaborating with ER, specialists, and primary care physicians. The service load ranges from 8 to 18 adult inpatients per day, from admission through discharge. Work schedule is 7 days on, 7 days off, 12-hour shifts, with nights covered by APPs and UPMC telemedicine. There are no call responsibilities, and no OB, peds, procedures, or ICU responsibilities.

Facility Information: UPMC Bedford is a 40-bed acute care community hospital offering medical, surgical, cardiac care, telemetry, and other diagnostic, treatment, and rehab services. The medical staff is supported by specialists providing outpatient, inpatient, and telemedicine consults.

Qualifications and Licensure: Board Certified or Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, BLS, ACLS, and must qualify for a medical license in Pennsylvania. J1 and H1b visa sponsorships are welcome.

Compensation: Recently enhanced base salary with bonuses (sign-on, wRVU, quality, retention), comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, 7 days PTO/year, and CME allowance.
