American Academy of Family Physicians in Meadville, PA, seeks Hospitalist and Family Medicine Core Faculty to join a 8 physicians/2 advanced practitioners team at Meadville Medical Center. Full-time days with a 7-on, 7-off rotation, delivering full-spectrum inpatient care, and collaborating with residents in a supportive, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree or equivalent.
• Board-certified or eligible in family medicine.
• Active Pennsylvania medical license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver full-spectrum care for low-to-moderate acuity patients, from assessment and diagnosis to treatment and consultation.
• Admit and care for adult and pediatric inpatients.
• The hospital has a closed ICU. No procedural and code requirements.
• Collaborate with family medicine residents; Core Faculty potential.

Local Team Collaboration:

• Become part of a close-knit team of 8 physicians and 2 Advanced Practitioners with the support of a clinical performance nurse and practice coordinator at Meadville Medical Center




• Meadville Medical Center is a 235-bed community hospital

Scheduling:

• Flexible scheduling is available. Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days off rotation

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver full-spectrum care for low-to-moderate acuity patients, from assessment and diagnosis to treatment and consultation

• We work with family medicine residents from the Meadville Medical Center family medicine residency. Family Medicine physicians are eligible to be Core Faculty

• Meadville is conveniently located 45 minutes from Erie, PA, 1.5 hours from Pittsburgh, PA, and two hours from both Cleveland, OH, and Buffalo, NY.

• Full-time days: $364,800 per year, plus incentives.
