Job summary

Meadville Medical Center in Meadville, PA, partners with Sound Physicians to hire a Hospitalist Physician Assistant. You’ll join a close-knit team of 8 physicians and 3 advance practitioners, handle patient admissions, and collaborate with the physician and day APP while utilizing the EMR system.

No procedures are required and inpatient experience is essential. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 2 pm–10 pm, with a generous base compensation plus bonuses and PTO, excellent community amenities,

• Must have NP certification and be eligible to practice.

Local Team Collaboration

• Become a part of a close-knit team of 8 physicians and 3 advance practitioners with the support of a clinical performance nurse and practice coordinator at Meadville Medical Center.
• Meadville Medical Center is a 235-bed community hospital.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/eligible nurse practitioners.
• Prior Hospitalist experience required – Must have at least 1 year of inpatient experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling

• Monday – Friday from 2 pm – 10 pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient admissions.
• The nurse practitioner works independently alongside the physician and day APP.
• No procedures are required in this role.
• Utilize the electronic records system (EMR).
