Avera Queen of Peace in Mitchell, SD, is seeking a physician to provide comprehensive medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment within their clinical area. You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, maintain patient records, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.

The role requires Avera’s CARE values, strong communication, and the ability to work in a dynamic hospital setting with rotating weekends and holidays.

Formación

• MD/DO must be licensed and board-certified or board-eligible.
• Current DEA license required.
• Ability to work rotating weekends/holidays.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provides and manages direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and care for patients within a recognized area of practice.
• Performs necessary diagnostic and therapeutic procedures per protocol and standard of practice.
• Maintains patient records and ensures confidentiality and safety.
• Meets with care team regularly to promote quality patient care and appropriate referrals.
