Job summary

TeamHealth seeks a full-time internal medicine trained physician to join the hospital medicine program at Hendrick Medical Center North in Abilene, Texas.

Block schedule is 7 days on, 7 days off with a team of daytime clinicians, nocturnists, and APCs. The EMR used is All-Scripts; procedures are optional if credentialed. Join a stable program with strong clinical support in a community-focused hospital.

Qualifications

• Internal medicine trained physician for hospital medicine program.
• Procedures not required unless credentialed.
• All-Scripts EMR is used across Hendrick system.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospital medicine coverage at Hendrick Medical Center North in Abilene.
• Collaborate with 9 day-shift physicians, APCs, and nocturnists on a 7-on/7-off schedule.
• Respond to and manage an average census of patients as part of the hospitalist team.
