Job description

A Medical Group north of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine physician to join their Hospitalist team. Family Practice Board Certified/Eligible physicians with sufficient inpatient experience will also be considered. Expect a busy practice within a physician-led, financially stable organization committed to high-quality patient care and satisfaction.

Job Details

1. Provide comprehensive care from admission to discharge for all referred patients.
2. Work schedule: Seven days on, seven days off.
3. 12-hour work shifts with a 30-minute on-call period upon ED arrival if outside the building.
4. A team of five Hospitalists provides 24/7 coverage.
5. Back-up assistance in ED for resuscitations/trauma, primarily utilizing HIM skill set.
6. Rotating schedule of days and nights.
7. Requirement of 161 shifts annually.
8. Compensation includes a MGMA-based salary and a comprehensive benefits package.
