Your Opportunity

Appalachian Regional Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Hospitalist Physician to join our team at Whitesburg ARH Medical Center. You will provide inpatient care within a supportive, integrated health system committed to improving health outcomes in southeastern Kentucky and beyond.

You will be part of a collaborative team delivering patient-centered care with access to system-wide resources and specialty support.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with specialists, nursing staff, and case management to ensure coordinated care and smooth transitions.
• Manage acute medical conditions with evidence-based protocols and best practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical education efforts.

Candidate Profile

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with hospitalist experience preferred.
• Skilled in managing acute inpatient conditions and coordinating multidisciplinary care.
• Committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a rural setting.
• Collaborative, adaptable, and community-focused.
