Emergency Medicine:

This community hospital in South Georgia, accredited by JCAHO, seeks two board-certified or eligible Emergency Medicine physicians to join the Emergency Department staff. Compensation includes a competitive salary aligned with national guidelines, along with full hospital employee benefits.

• Physician shifts: 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am
• APP shifts: 10am-10pm
• Coverage: 1 doctor and 1 APP during the day; 1 doctor at night
• Average census: 50-60 patients per 24 hours
• 24/7 hospitalists handle admissions for the ED
• Level 3 trauma designation
• Hospital provides scribes

Hospitalist Internal or Family Medicine:

• Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off
• During day shift (7am-7pm): 1 doctor and 2 APPs
• Night shift (7pm-7am): 1 APP onsite with a hospitalist physician taking backup call
• Census: 25-35 patients
• Compensation: competitive salary based on experience, with sign-on and retention bonuses
• Loan repayment assistance up to $100,000
