Job Opportunity : Physician - OB Hospitalist in Forth Worth, TX

We are seeking an additional Board Certified or Board Eligible OB Hospitalist for a permanent position at a leading healthcare facility in Texas. This hospital plays an essential role in the Forth Worth community, serving over 50,000 patients annually and equipped with advanced health information technology. As part of a dedicated team, you will have the opportunity to provide quality care in an environment that emphasizes community connection and volunteerism.

Job Responsibilities :

• Full-time is considered 7.5 24-hour shifts a month; part-time options (minimum 5.5 shifts / month) available.
• Handle an annual delivery volume of 1,924, including 96 vaginal and C-section deliveries performed by hospitalists.
• Manage a 40% C-section rate in the delivery caseload.
• Oversee 2,296 unscheduled outpatient OB / GYN triage visits annually.
• Conduct 1,229 OBED consults each year.
• Collaborate with in-house neonatologists in a Level II NICU setting.
• Work with maternal-fetal medicine specialists for high-risk pregnancies.
• Perform OB triage, admissions, attending deliveries, and inpatient care.
• Provide care for unassigned patients and assist with private call coverage.
• Cover the OB floor and manage ER consults for GYN emergencies.
• Respond to emergencies in the labor and delivery unit.
• This is a permanent, full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area; relocation may be necessary.

Qualifications :

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB / GYN - REQUIRED
• Active Texas medical license (or in process) - REQUIRED
• Clean malpractice and license history - HIGHLY PREFERRED
• Willingness to work full-time or part-time - REQUIRED
• No requirement for visa support (J1 or H1B) - REQUIRED

License and Certification Requirements :
