Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift 8p-8a
• Call Schedule: Flexible
• Patient Population: Adult
• APP Coverage: Daytime only. No overnight APP coverage.
• Additional Staff: No other Hospitalists present during shift
• Patient Load: Average number of patients per day - Admissions: 8-12 per shift
• ICU: Closed medical ICU (24 hr intensivists responsible for admitting to med ICU)
• Inpatient Census: Total patient census runs 88+
• Admissions: 7-10 admissions overnight in addition to floor calls
• Codes: No in-house codes
• Rounding: No rounding; nocturnist responsible for floor calls. Covers 7 units (2s, 3n, 4s, 4n, 5s, CVT Stepdown, and CVT ICU)
• EMR System: EPIC
• Hospital Type: Community hospital. Not a trauma center
